A Birthday Clue to Remember | Prt 1

Hey there friends! Happy Monday to you! Today is such a special day because I get to celebrate the birth of my husband Jason. I am dedicating this post to him today.

For those who don’t know my husband, he has quite a birth story. He was born a premie and his lungs were not fully developed. He actually had to stay in the hospital for a month. Hooked up to an IV & he was also on oxygen to help build up his lungs. Being the strong person he is, Jason pulled through!

Now, let me rewind a bit. When my mother-in-law Linda, was pregnant with her oldest son Richard, she in a car accident and was thrown out of the car! Because of that, it caused her to have high risk pregnancies. Ten months before Jason, mom sadly had a still born. So it’s safe to say that Jason was indeed her miracle baby. I thank God despite things that happened before and even during mom’s pregnancy, Jason came into this world as a fighter & ready to take on what life throws at him.

I admire my husband for his hard work. I love his heart and how no matter how hard it is, he always finds the brighter side of situations. I’m proud to be his wife. And I’m thankful he is the father of our children.

I honestly don’t know where I would be if I never met this animated man. Lol! He just keeps us all laughing with his randomness & energy. His mom said he was like that since he was a child lol! And I think we are actually getting a feel for that energy through our 8 year old A’Niyah! Lord, help us lol!

Jason didn’t want me to do anything for his birthday. Every time I asked him,so what do you want for your birthday?” He would say nothing… or “I’m good …” meanwhile, I’m rolling my eyes behind his back. Lol! But y’all, I surprised him this past weekend. I dropped clues for him and placed them in areas of the house and even at our church. His job was to try to figure out what the last clue, which is the final answer would be. Let’s just say he’s still clueless lol!

I enjoyed seeing his facial expressions as he found clues randomly placed without his knowledge. I crack myself up! I didn’t think I could top my birthday surprise from last year, but this one puts the icing on the cake for sure!

I am going to share the clues with you on this blog post. If for some reason you figure it out, post “got it!” In the comment section. Jason is going to read this and I don’t want to spoil the surprise.

Clue 1: A bag filled with cracker jacks, his favorite candy & organdy soda. This was left on our bed.

Clue 2: A note left in a gift box.

I left clue two on his dresser.

Clue 3: He has to find the words. I left this at our church info center.

The FINAL clue will have to wait. This post will have a part two because I want to show you his expression. It’s going to be pretty EPIC so stay tuned!!
